About the Speakers

Alex Blake
CRM Manager – RNDC
Alexandra Blake is a forward-thinking and data driven leader with over 8 years’ experience in the Beverage Alcohol Industry. Alexandra is currently the CRM Manager (GreatVines) for Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) where she has been bridging the gap between data collection and utilization. She has worked across multiple levels of the 3-tiered system as well as departments ranging from Supplier Business Development, Analytics and Marketing. She aims to combine her analytical skills, and passion for exploring, analyzing and communicating data in order to continue to deliver best in class service to all her customers; Suppliers, Sales Teams, and Accounts by maximizing the technological tools we have at hand. When she is not exploring data, she is waking up at 5 AM to go to Orangetheory, cooking to eat some calories she burned earlier that day and spending time with her husband and their miniature dachshund, Axel.

For over 16 years, Karim Lateef has been a trailblazing leader in branded entertainment, sales and marketing innovation within the wine and spirits industry. Some may know him for his leadership within culture marketing at Pernod Ricard and Diageo, but Karim can also be credited for his foresight and foundation-setting contributions to the growing trend of celebrity owned spirit brands and the prioritization of influencer marketing as a masterstroke strategy. Demonstrating a natural aptitude for disruptive marketing within a highly competitive industry, most recently Karim co-developed and directed Pernod Ricard’s first ever Culture Marketing Ecosystem to drive conversion and consideration of Avion Tequila, Martell Cognac, and Jameson Irish Whiskey among multicultural millennials. Additionally, Karim is honored to have been an early pioneer in the creation of brand-owned TV shows, with his pivotal role in the launch of the 2010-12’s seasons of Smirnoff Vodka’s ‘Master of the Mix’ DJ reality show which aired on BET and VH1. Karim most recently launched Craft Brand Theory, a brand consultancy and ‘slingshot’ platform aimed at centering underrepresented creatives and entrepreneurs onto the global stage. As a proud HBCU alum of Xavier University of Louisiana, Karim also holds an MBA in Marketing from LaSalle University and resides in Atlanta Georgia.
